ABOUT PROJECT

  • TEKNORASYON is a project aimed at the digital transformation of cultural heritage. By leveraging modern technologies, we successfully carry out detailed measurements, technical drawings, and 3D modeling processes to enhance the preservation and accessibility of historical structures. Our content, presented in both Turkish and English, facilitates online access to historical buildings while providing a fast and interactive experience through QR code integration.

  • The project aims to sustainably preserve historical structures at risk of destruction due to natural disasters, wear and tear over time, or inadequate restoration efforts by digitally documenting them using modern technologies. In this context, during the initial phase, the selected buildings within the scope of the Milas Museum were measured for their as-built documentation, technical drawings were prepared, and detailed 3D models were created. The development of a digital archive for these structures not only ensures the protection of their physical existence but also makes architectural and cultural information accessible to a broader audience. With its R&D focus, the project offers significant innovation in the preservation and promotion of historical structures.

  • In light of the data obtained from the conducted studies, a patent application titled 'Artificial Intelligence-Based Automatic Architectural Semantic Classification Module' with the registration number 'TR 2024/018317' has been submitted on behalf of the project team. The patent application has been REGISTERED after passing the steps of Novelty, Inventive Step, and Industrial Applicability (REGISTRATION NUMBER: 2024/018317). This module processes multilayered information derived from point cloud data, image-based measurement techniques, hyperspectral imaging, and other spatial data collection methods to automatically identify building components and materials. Additionally, it enhances semantic integrity by detecting anomalies such as damage, deformation, and cracks through machine learning methods.

  • The studies initiated within the scope of the TÜBİTAK and TEKNOFEST Project Proposals are being carried out with permissions from the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, the Milas District Governorate, and the Milas District Directorate of National Education, in collaboration with the Milas Museum Directorate (Reference Numbers: E-28687695-152.99-6220432; E-51034835-155.01-6138389; E-89028351-754-122898145; E-24037123-310.01.02-1214558687).
